Well folks, please meet my new addition to the family: His name is Shrik. He came to us when we weren't looking for him. I think he's an old soul...He may even have passed my Jocky on the way to us...because he already knows about licking my face (I hate it,) and he knows he he not allowed to jump up on us...he hasn't done that once.
Back to the ride...here is my route...and I'm very sorry, but I just couldn't get the little girl to stop in Gray for the Fossil show. I'll have to miss it I guess. Here's my route, 163 miles today. Are you ready for the ride?

Glad to hear you are rolling again... great pics as always!
ReplyDeleteGood to see you're riding again and you have a new friend too. That's great.
ReplyDeleteAs always, beautiful pictures!! I'm so glad to see that she's home and you're back in the saddle again!
ReplyDeleteI'm also very happy to see Shrik, your new addition! :) Your story almost mirrors mine...reminds me of when I brought Raven home. She may have done the same that Shrik did. Sometimes I think I can see some of Juliet in her by way of some of the things she does. She's brought a great comfort to me during my grief and I hope that Shrik will bring that same comfort to you, my friend.
I love the new addition to your family! How cute! Glad to hear you are rolling again.

ReplyDeleteWelcome to Shrik. I'm glad to see you back on your bike and watching the scenery pass by. I like abandoned houses too. When I saw the first pix I thought to myself, wonder what it looks like inside, then I viewed the next picture. Sometimes I wonder where the people went, or who lived there before and what happened to them, or how it was to live back then during the time. I also worry about safety as it appears to be crumbling away. Abandoned dreams . . .

Congratulations on being back on the road. Did you get new saddlebags? Somehow your bike looks different.
ReplyDeleteI love those kinda rides stop and dream of what it was like some time ago. Cruse at your own pace in peace with the bike and the road. Glad to see you back.
